Cuyahoga County groups and organizations are eligible to receive grants for assessment and cleanup/remediation of brownfield sites for future economic development. Governor DeWine has authorized the Ohio Department of Development to begin accepting applications for funding awards.

The application process will occur in three rounds. The first round is open now through January 31, 2022, but grand funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The second round of applications will begin in March 2022.

Eligible applicants include townships, port authorities, conservancy districts and nonprofit organizations.
