Robust Higher Education System



Cuyahoga County is home to a number of nationally-ranked higher education institutions, many of which are routinely ranked as some of the best in the country. These colleges and universities strengthen the region’s economy by providing access to top researchers and academic programs, while also leading to a more developed and educated workforce.

The County boasts 13 four-year colleges and 14 two-year schools, with 17,600 people graduating from college annually. Another 220 colleges and universities are located in a 150-mile radius.
