Most County Buildings Will Delay Opening Tomorrow, January 22 Due To Extreme Cold Conditions

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Cuyahoga County buildings will open to the public at 10:30am on Wednesday, January 22. Cuyahoga County Courts will be open during their normally scheduled hours.
County Council has also delayed the start time for the Public Works, Procurement & Contracting Committee. It will now meet at 11am in Council Chambers at the County's Administrative Building in downtown Cleveland.
Members of the public are reminded that very low temperatures can quickly become hazardous for people, pets, and property. Residents are advised to adhere to guidelines set forth by their respective municipalities regarding winter weather.
Anyone seeking shelter should contact United Way 211 or visit the County’s Extreme Cold webpage. Residents are also encouraged to check in on seniors and those living at risk or needing assistance.
Cuyahoga County urges residents to follow cuyahogacounty.gov/coldweather for comprehensive cold weather resources. In addition, the County’s Office of Emergency Management provides lifesaving tips on preparedness that can help you and your loved ones stay safe during an emergency.
