Deputy Chief of Justice & Communications Appointments Announced

CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald named Norberto Colon as Deputy Chief of Staff for Justice in his new administration. Colon is currently the Assistant Director of the City of Cleveland Department of Public Safety. Colon will work with the Sheriff’s office, the Clerk of Courts, the Medical Examiner and the Law Department.
Colon is a graduate of John Carroll University and is pursuing a Masters degree in Public Administration at Cleveland State University. He has served the Department of Public Safety for the last six years and previously worked the Cleveland Department of Workforce Development.
Nicole Dailey Jones was appointed as Communications Director for Cuyahoga County. Jones is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and has worked in the United States Senate and for the Cleveland Municipal School District. Jones announced her resignation from her current elected position as a North Olmsted City Councilwoman at the City Council meeting this week, effective January 31, 2011. Jones was first elected in 2005.
