1.6 Million Square Feet of Real Estate Available

CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County has begun the next step in the consolidation and efficient use of County owned buildings. On August 7, 2012, County Executive FitzGerald will join Cuyahoga County’s real estate program manager, CBRE, to kick off a series of open houses at each of the County-owned properties that are currently for sale.

Tours will be conducted according to the schedule below, beginning on August 7 - 9 and again on August 21 - 23. The first tour will be on Tuesday August 7th, at the rotunda of the Ameritrust site, E. 9th Street and Euclid Avenue. The entrance is through East 9th Street only. Signs will be posted.

Cuyahoga County will be offering 13 properties for sale ranging in size from 20,000 Square Feet to 800,000 Square Feet. The total disposition will constitute approximately 1.6 million square feet of real estate. The County will consider all offers that represent a positive return to taxpayers, an appropriate use of the property, and limited environmental impact.

Interested parties shall be required to complete and submit a RFP Registration in order to request information from CBRE or its partners, at https://www.cbre.com/ or at the Office of Procurement and Diversity 1219 Ontario Street, Room 110, Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
