Cuyahoga County Stands Ready to Assist Board Of Elections

CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald announced today that all areas of county government are prepared to help the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections tomorrow on Election Day.

The Sheriff’s Department has Deputies ready to be assigned as need be; the Information Technology (IT) Department has additional servers on stand-by; the Clerk of Courts will be holding extended hours on Election Day and the Public Works Department will be available to offer general assistance tomorrow to the Board of Elections.

“All areas of county government stand ready to assist the Board of Elections tomorrow,”said FitzGerald. “Our IT Department has been working with them for months and has additional servers on stand-by, our Clerk of Court will be here working extended hours, and our Sheriff’ Department has Deputies ready to be deployed if need be. We will help the Board of Elections in whatever way we can in order for Election Day to run smoothly here in Cuyahoga County tomorrow.”
