CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish announces new Chief Innovation Officer.

Catherine Tkachyk has been named Chief Innovation Officer. Tkachyk joins Cuyahoga County from the City of San Antonio, where she was the Innovation Manager for the Office of Innovation.

“To better serve the community, we must transform government, becoming more innovative, adopting best practices from around the country, and improving efficiency and effectiveness,” said Budish. “We are delighted to have Catherine on board as she will be an asset to drive and support our innovation and performance improvement efforts.”

"I'm proud to be joining the team at Cuyahoga County. I am excited to work on the mission of improving government to better serve all residents,” said Tkachyk. “In San Antonio, we were able to see great success in the Office of Innovation. Using customer focused process improvement work we saved the City of San Antonio over $20 million in hard costs while improving the resident experience. San Antonio has also been recognized as a national leader in performance management. I look forward to continuing this work in Cuyahoga County.”

The Office of Innovation & Performance works to create a culture of innovation and operational excellence through data driven decision making, researching and implementing best practices and focusing on results to improve service delivery for residents of Cuyahoga County.
