CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Alexa Beeler has been named the new Interim Inspector General for Cuyahoga County.
The Inspector General is an independent entity of the County, responsible for investigating corruption, fraud, waste and abuse within County government, and enforcing the County’s code of ethics.
Beeler has served as an Assistant Law Director for the County since 2019. Prior to her work at the County, she served as a Judicial Staff Attorney for Judge John P. O’Donnell for 10 years.
Beeler received her Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
“The role of Inspector General is critical in promoting honesty and accountability in County government,” said County Executive Armond Budish. “Alexa’s prior experience with the County and her extensive knowledge of law will serve her well in this new role.”
