Department of Public Works Seeks Public Input for East 200th Street Roadway Repair and Resurfacing

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works, the cities of Euclid and Cleveland, and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) invite the public to provide comments regarding the repair and resurfacing of East 200th Street.

The project will involve East 200th Street from Mohican Avenue to Lakeshore Boulevard, and will include roadway resurfacing, pavement repairs, and curb and walk repairs. The project also includes the installation of ADA compliant curb ramps and waterline replacement.

The project will occur within the existing right-of-way limits. A minimum of one lane of traffic in the northbound direction will be maintained, and access to properties and adjacent streets will be maintained at all times during construction. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in Spring 2024 and will last approximately six months.

Questions and comments must be submitted by June 23, 2023 and may include the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, floodplains, and historic or cultural resources.
