Property Tax Bills Mailed to More Than 300,000 Residents

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – The Cuyahoga County Treasurer’s Office mailed property tax bills to more than 300,000 county residents. There are currently eight options for paying property taxes. In order to avoid long lines, residents should consider paying property taxes by drop box, online or by phone. The last day to pay without penalty is Thursday, July 20, 2023. The funds collected from property taxes provide vital revenue for local schools, cities, villages, townships, libraries, and various county-level services. Residents can learn more about where their property taxes go through the Fiscal Office GIS Hub.

Taxpayers can utilize the following methods of payment:

  • By mail with parcel number written on the check

    Cleveland, OH 44115 (Envelope must be postmarked by closing date to avoid penalties and interest)
  • Online via e-check or credit card
    Visit cuyahogacounty.us/treasury
  • By phone
    1-877-738-1212 to pay by credit card (fee added) or e-check (free)
  • Drop Box located on the side of the Cuyahoga County Administrative HQ

Taxpayers who are unable to make full payment of their property taxes can call (216) 443-7400 to make an appointment with the Treasurer’s Office to discuss payment arrangements.
