Property taxes must be paid or post-marked by February 15, 2024

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH –  Cuyahoga County property owners will now have more time to pay their tax bills. The Cuyahoga County Treasurer’s Office has changed the County’s tax bill due date and mailing policy. The change is effective for the collection of taxes that are due for payment February 15, 2024, and will remain in effect going forward.

Taxpayers wishing to make early payments for income tax purposes remain able to do so.

Taxpayers can access tax bills online and via phone at 1-877-738-1212 starting no later than December 22, 2023.

Physical copies of tax bills will be mailed in early January 2024. Taxpayers can also receive a courtesy copy of their tax bills by calling the Treasurer’s Office at 216-443-7400 Option 1.

Property tax payments must be paid online, in-person, via phone or post-marked by February 15, 2024.

Payment options are as easy at 1-2-3-4:

1. In Person
   Taxpayers can make payment by cash, check, money order, and credit or debit card (fees apply) at the Treasurer’s Office, located on the first floor of the County Administrative Headquarters at 2079 E. 9th Street in Downtown Cleveland.
   
   Taxpayers can also pay in person using check or money order via drop box at the Treasurer’s Office, and at all Cuyahoga County Auto Title and Key Bank locations.
   
2. By Mail
   Taxpayers can pay by check, cashier’s check, or money order by detaching the bottom portion of their bills and sending them with payment to Cuyahoga County Treasurer, 2079 East 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44115. Please include the parcel number on the check or money order for faster processing.
   
3. By Phone
   Taxpayers can pay via phone by check, credit, or debit card (fees apply) at 1-877-738-1212.
   
4. Online
   Taxpayers can pay online by check, credit, or debit card (fees apply).
   
   Taxpayers are also encouraged to take advantage of EasyPay, a free and convenient service that allows taxpayers to make payments in monthly, semiannual, or yearly installments.
