The Internal Affairs Unit is dedicated to investigating criminal acts and/or policy violations that are committed by employees of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department. Complaints will be taken from any and all sources to include from department supervisors, sworn members, and civilian employees, or citizens. All complaints, regardless of the source, including third-party and anonymous sources, shall be documented and investigated.
