PROGRESS
August 4, 2026 Progress:
Erected Precast arches, headwall, & wingwalls. Waterproofed, grouted, and installed drainage within bridge structure. Installed Structural Backfill for the precast sections. Embankment installed to limits of roadway grade. Additional Rock Channel Protection was installed along corners of the structure. Painted Precast sections with elastomeric protective and decorative coating. Removed temporary shoring walls to grade.
Expected in the upcoming weeks:
Form, tie rebar, and pour moment slab with concrete. Form, tie rebar, and pour sidewalk with concrete. Form, tie rebar, and pour bridge parapets with concrete and tubular railing. Install architectural treatment along sides of parapets. Install curb plates along edges of sidewalk. Install roadway underdrain and drainage structures. Reinstall driveway aprons. Install roadway aggregates and asphalt. Lane striping and signage reinstalled. Topsoil, seeding, and mulching.
July 1, 2026 Progress:
Cofferdam shoring installed at forward side for excavation support of waterline along left side of roadway. Temporary shoring wall along driveway at forward right side of proposed structure. Form, tie rebar, and pour concrete into rear abutment footer and knee wall. Form, tie rebar, and pour concrete into forward abutment footer and knee wall. Rock Excavation for proposed rear and forward abutment footer. Upcoming Work:
Erect precast arches, headwall, and wingwalls. Waterproofing, grouting, and installing drainage within bridge structure. Install rock channel protection along sides of creek bank. Install embankment to backfill footers. Install structural backfill and roadway aggregates.
June 8, 2026 Progress:
Ridgewood drive closed May 4th to begin the demolition and full replacement of Ridgewood Bridge Culver 03.50 over West Creek. Guardrail removal. Demolished portions of roadway, superstructure, and substructure. Excavation for rear and forward abutments. Cofferdam shoring was installed at rear side for excavation support of waterline along left side of roadway.

Cofferdam shoring install at forward side for excavation support of waterline along left side of roadway. Form, tie rebar, and pour concrete into rear abutment footer. Form, tie rebar, and pour concrete into rear abutment knee wall. Form, tie, rebar, and pour concrete into forward abutment footer. Erect precast arches, headwall, and wingwalls.
May 4, 2026 Progress:
Installation of resident temporary access drive. Telecom companies completed relocation of facilities. Equipment mobilized to site and laydown area established. Waterline along left side of bridge field verified.
Upcoming Work:
Date for closure of Ridgewood Bridge is Monday, May 4th, 2026. This work will include a total replacement of the Ridgewood Bridge Culvert 03.50 over West Creek. The road will be closed to through traffic for a 90-day period. Guardrail removal. Demolish roadway, superstructure, and substructure. Excavation, tie rebar, and pour concrete into rear abutment.
April 3, 2026 Progress:
Contractors onsite to complete tree removal along east side of the roadway that are necessary for access during construction. Removal was done prior to start of construction to maintain environmental commitments. Utilities onsite to complete relocation of facilities.
Upcoming Work:
Tentative date for closure of Ridgewood Bridge is May 4th , 2026. This work will include a total replacement of the Ridgewood Bridge Culvert 03.50 over West Creek. The road will be closed to through traffic for a 90-day period. Installation of resident temporary access drive. Additional utility companies are onsite to complete the relocation of facilities.
