This project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 2.3 miles of Warrensville Center Road from Fairmount Boulevard to Mayfield Road. Work includes base repairs, installation of new intermediate and surface asphalt courses, ADA upgrades, installation of two pedestrian hybrid beacons (Hillbrook and Traymore), and implementation of a road diet with bike lanes from Fairmount to Silsby. Additional improvements include new colored/stamped pedestrian crosswalks.

Current Work Zone:
Two-way traffic is currently maintained on the east half of Warrensville, from Fairmount Circle to just north of Bayard Road, while construction continues on the west half of the roadway. Drivers should expect minor delays and are advised to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
Expected work in the upcoming weeks:
Casting adjustments.
Partial and full-deep repairs.
ADA ramp installations and curb removals/repairs.
Single-pass chip sealing and intermediate asphalt paving (Cedar Road to Fairmount Blvd.).
Surface course paving and striping (Cedar Road to Bayard Road).

Work Zone Change-Effective Monday July 6th:
Beginning Monday, July 6th, a new work zone will be established to support continued resurfacing operations.
Two-way traffic (one lane in each direction) will shift to the east half of Warrensville Center Road from Fairmount Circle to just north of Bayard Road, as construction activity transitions to the west half of the roadway.
Drivers should expect minor delays and use caution while moving through the work zone.
Expected work in the upcoming weeks:
Wearing course removal.
Partial and full-depth repairs.
Single pass chip sealing.
Intermediate asphalt paving.

Two-way traffic (one lane in each direction) will shift to the west half of Warrensville Road from Mayfield Road to Cedar Road as construction begins on the east half.
A work zone will also be established on the north side of the Warrensville Road and Cedar Road intersection, reducing Cedar Road traffic by approximately 50% during the installation of new colored/stamped pedestrian crosswalks
