Many people who end up in the criminal justice system are dealing with not only drug and alcohol addiction, but also have underlying trauma related mental health issues. The goal of the Recovery/Drug Court program is to break the cycle of recidivism by addressing an offender’s mental illness and drug addiction dependencies.
