Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)

Oriana House’s mission is to provide quality and humane chemical dependency treatment and community corrections services to clients while contributing to safer communities. Safer communities start within the walls of our facilities. Oriana House staff strive to maintain a safe environment and model appropriate behavior for our clients as an example of what is expected outside of our facilities. Oriana House is committed to a zero-tolerance policy regarding any sexual abuse, assault, or harassment by a client, employee, volunteer, independent contractor, vendor or intern.

While Oriana House has always had a grievance policy for clients to voice and report their concerns, policy has also been implemented to specifically address the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA). Anyone at any time can report an occurrence of sexual abuse or sexual assault, or their concern or fear about sexual abuse. There are no retaliation to reporting and the reporting can be done confidentially.

Complete the PREA Reporting Form to report sexual abuse or sexual assault, or you can call (330) 258-1271 and report your concerns. The more information you are able to provide will better assist the investigation. Every report is investigated by either law enforcement and/or an Oriana House internal team.
