Complying with Cuyahoga County Consumer Law
The Cuyahoga County Department of Consumer Affairs is responsible for enforcing the county’s Consumer Protection and Weights and Measures codes.
The Consumer Protection Code broadly prohibits companies from misleading consumers in order to make a sale. Businesses should make sure their advertising and sales practices comply with our Weights and Measures Code and Consumer Protection Code.
If your business sells products by weight, volume or any other measure, contact Weights and Measures anytime you install, repair or replace a device. Learn more about Weights and Measures for businesses.
