August 1, 2023

  • Traffic is currently maintained two-way in the southbound lanes from Flowerdale Ave. to Brookpark Rd.
  • Truck detour is still in effect.
  • WestboundI-480 exit ramp is open to traffic utilizing the two left lanes of ramp beginning 7-5-23.
  • Reconstruction of the northbound lanes from Brookpark Rd. to Flowerdale Ave. continues.
  • Resurfacing area, Pearl Rd., to Brookpark Rd; resurfacing is complete except for permanent pavement markings which are scheduled to be completed this summer. 

July 5, 2023

• Stage I Phase II
• Detour is in effect as on 7-5-23.
• Traffic will be one-way southbound in the northbound lanes from Rockside Rd. to Turney Rd. 
• Northbound traffic detoured northbound Turney Road to eastbound Rockside Road.
• Stage I Phase I
• Pavement repairs are complete.
• Intermediate course asphalt pavement placed; casting adjustments complete, new curb ramps are in process. 

June 1, 2023

  • Traffic is currently maintained two-way in the southbound lanes.
  • Truck detour has been implemented.
  • Eastbound I-480 entrance ramp closed for 20 days beginning 5-30-23.
  • A detour to State Rd., is in place.
  • Reconstruction of the northbound lanes is in progress.
  • The first scheduled concrete placement is scheduled for 6-5-23.
  • Resurfacing area, Pearl Rd., to Brookpark Rd; resurfacing complete except for permanent pavement markings which are scheduled to be completed this summer.

April 23, 2023

  • Reconstruction of the northbound lanes, north of Brookpark Rd., to Flowerdale Ave., began on 4-20-23.
  • Traffic pattern changes will be in effect by the end of each day.
  • All traffic will be diverted to the southbound lanes.
  • Resurfacing area, Pearl Rd. to Brookpark Rd: Resurfacing complete except for permanent pavement markings which are scheduled to be completed this spring.

February 8, 2023

  • The project is scheduled to resume construction April 1st weather permitting.
  • West Ridgewood Drive is substantially complete with permanent striping and street signs to be completed this spring weather permitting. 

 

November 3, 2022

Reconstruction area from north of Brookpark Rd. to Flowerdale Ave., southbound side:

  •  Existing concrete pavement removed, proposed 10” concrete complete for southbound lanes from beginning of reconstruction area to the north end of project. Reconstruction of westbound I-480 entrance ramp, eastbound I-480 exit ramp complete.
  • Restoration, joint sealing, temporary pavement markings in process.

     

    Resurfacing area, Pearl Rd. to Brookpark Rd:

  • Resurfacing complete including replacement of curb, drive aprons, and curb ramps.
  • Permanent pavement markings in progress. 

 

October 3, 2022

  • Reconstruction area from north of Brookpark Rd. to Flowerdale Ave., southbound side:
    Existing concrete pavement removed, proposed 10” concrete placed for southbound lanes from beginning of reconstruction area to the north end of project. Reconstruction of westbound I-480 entrance ramp, eastbound I-480 exit ramp.
  • Resurfacing area, Pearl Rd. to Brookpark Rd:
    Center and inside southbound lanes repaired and resurfaced with intermediate course asphalt pavement, southbound curb lane, existing asphalt pavement milled with base and curb repairs in process.

 

September 9, 2022

  • Reconstruction area from north of Brookpark Rd. to Flowerdale Ave., southbound side:
    Existing concrete pavement removed, proposed 10” concrete placed for 11’ and 12’ southbound lanes from beginning of reconstruction area to the north end of project. Reconstruction of Westbound 480 entrance ramp, Best Buy drive entrance.
  • Resurfacing area, Pearl Rd. to Brookpark Rd:
    Center and inside southbound lanes repaired and resurfaced with intermediate course asphalt pavement, southbound curb lane, existing asphalt pavement milled with base and curb repairs to follow.

 

August 4, 2022

  • Removal of existing concrete pavement in southbound lanes, north pf Brookpark Rd.
  • Resurfacing area, Pearl Rd., to Brookpark Rd., inside southbound and turning lanes milled.
  • Pavement repairs identified and in the process of replacement.
