Sustainable Cuyahoga


The 59 communities in Cuyahoga County are on the front lines of sustainability. They are responding directly to citizen demands for more choices and better performance on issues such as energy, transportation, local food, and solid waste.

The County’s Department of Sustainability partnered with Sustainability Consultant Marc Lefkowitz to put together an updated toolkit of helpful data and extensive best practice information to help communities and businesses, no matter where they are in their sustainability journey.
