Medical Insurance

Cuyahoga County offers four medical plan options. Plans are offered through MetroHealth Select and Medical Mutual. These plans pay 100% for In-Network preventive services (according to age and gender) and includes prescription drug coverage.

Medical Mutual SuperMed EPO

An Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) is a type of managed care plan that is a hybrid of HMO and PPO plans.

 

 

Medical Mutual SuperMed PPO

PPO plans, or Preferred Provider Organization plans, allow you to visit any in-network physician or health care provider you wish without first requiring a referral from a primary care physician.

Medicare is the health insurance program run by the Federal Government. It is available to those 65 and older, those under 65 with certain disabilities, and those with end-stage renal disease.
