There is no judgment and no pressure. We meet you where you are and work with you at your own pace. Our goal is to give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed financial decisions and reach your goals.

What to Expect

Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know you and understand your financial goals. During the 60-minute session, together, we will review your current situation, talk about any challenges you're facing, and create a personalized action plan.

To help us better understand your financial situation and provide the best guidance, we may ask you to:

• Authorize a soft credit pull. There is no cost to you, and checking your credit through the Financial Empowerment Center will not lower your credit score.
• Bring recent bank statements and other financial documents. These documents help us understand your income, expenses, savings, and spending so we can create a plan that fits your goals.

Your information is kept private, secure, and is used only to provide you with financial counseling.

The first step is scheduling a counseling session. You will have the option of meeting in-person, by phone, or via Teams. We also have evening and weekend time slots!
