OPT - In is a property tax hardship program for those that have exhausted their allowed number of payment plans. To be eligible for this program you must:

• Have been denied a payment plan through the Treasurer’s Office due to having defaulted on three previous payment plans
• Seeking a 4th payment plan on your owner-occupied primary residence
• Agree to a one-on-one financial counseling session to determine financial sustainability
• Agree to enroll in the Easy Pay Program to escrow monthly payments towards the upcoming tax bill

All OPT - In payment plans must have final approval of the Treasurer; the Treasurer has the desecration to approve or deny any application.

The first step is scheduling a counseling session. You will have the option of meeting in-person, by phone, or via Teams. We also have evening and weekend time slots!
