The Economic Development Loan provides businesses with financial assistance to support the retention and creation of jobs for County residents. The fund provides long term, fixed-rate financing at interest rates lower than conventional financing.

The County Fiscal Officer acts as an agent for the Ohio Tax Commissioner and is responsible for processing the Estate tax returns of decedents who resided in Cuyahoga County. Included in these duties are the inventory of safe deposit boxes for Guardianships only.

"Manufactured home" means a building unit or assembly of closed construction fabricated in an off-site facility, that conforms with the federal construction and safety standards established by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development pursuant to the Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 and that has a label or tag permanently affixed to it certifying compliance with all applicable federal construction and safety standards.

The Real Estate Taxation department is responsible for the transfer and conveyance of all documents conveying interest in land, minerals or mineral rights, such as Deeds, Affidavits, Certificates of Transfer, and Certified Copies of Court Judgment Entries. It is also responsible for the collection of all fees and revenues associated with said transfers. The other primary function of the office is tracking the chain of title for all properties in Cuyahoga County as to accurately reflect ownership for tax purposes.

Area 3 Workforce Development Board (WDB) serves as the advisory body for the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County Departments of Workforce Development. The purpose of the department is to provide resources and information through the OMJ|CC system to assist area businesses with their hiring and training needs in order to stay competitive in today’s environment, and to provide residents of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County with the tools necessary for a competitive and successful job search. Its programs and services include education, occupational training, job match and search assistance and employment-related youth programs funded through the Federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIOA).
